Don't Scam People. That's All.

In light of the recent scam by Crossroad Review, I decided to post this.

I remember back in 2013, I was just a reader who happened to stumble into the blogging world. I discovered many blogs, one of them being Crossroad Reviews. Knowing nothing about blogging at the time, I thought her blog was cool. She posted a lot of reviews, giveaways, and author events which I had admired.

Things were okay in the beginning. I would read her posts, enter a few giveaways here and there, but then it started getting fishy.
First it began with her giveaways. She started an event where the top commenters on her blog would win a prize. Then, she started a different event where if her blog reached a certain amount of page views within a day she would host another giveaway. Essentially, she was bribing people to view and comment on her blog which was unethical and honestly offensive to the other bloggers who actually post quality content for their readers and not to fish for views.

After that, I only visited her blog sporadically.
I stopped visiting all together when I won a couple of giveaways and never received the prize or was asked to pay shipping. Then, more scams from her started to appear such as on Books for Trade, which is when I unfollowed her on all social media platforms.
But I’m honestly shocked that she’s still continuing this behavior. I’ve debated about posting my experience when her past scams appeared (you can find more details about her previous scams on Parajunkee’s blog), but in posting this time, I hope it will prevent bloggers from falling for her latest co-blogging scam.
Moral of this story, don’t trust Crossroad Reviews. She’s proved multiple times that she’s not an honest blogger :(
