Behind the Story #3: Winx1348

Behind the Story Saturdays are my biweekly feature posts spotlighting Wattpad writers!
Today's interview is a special Valentine's Day edition with winx1348!

Author: Emma
Series: None

Genre: YA, Contemporary Romance
Summary from Wattpad:
For Jessalyn and her mom, moving to the small town of Avondale, California seemed like the perfect decision; they wanted the new scenery but what they really needed was a new start.
Jessalyn Hartley had always been shy and one to keep to herself, but now, as she enters her final year of high school at Crestview High, she's more determined than ever to stay hidden in the shadows.
However, all of that may change when she crosses paths with the supposed bad boy; Cason Michaels, and figures out that maybe she just had to meet the right person to break her out of her shell.

Interview
About you!:
Do you have any Valentine’s Day traditions?
I usually just go to the grocery store a couple days later and get discounted Reese's Cups. :P

What’s your favorite Valentine/romance movie?
I really love Safe Haven and the classic Valentine's Day!

If you could have one fictional character as your boyfriend, who would you pick?
Travis Maddox from Beautiful Disaster or Luke from The Longest Ride. :)

All About the Characters!:
If Cason and Jessa are spending Valentine’s Day together, what would they be doing?
I'd say Cason would probably take Jessa out to dinner, but then they'd just go back and relax, watching movies all night in each other’s arms.

What would Cason give to Jessa and vice versa?
Cason would give Jessa a charm bracelet, and Jessa would give Cason a little more sentimental...I just can't think of anything right now. :P

What scene or dialogue between Jessa and Cason is your favorite?
My favourite scene is probably when he runs after her in the library right after they get together, or the day before Christmas holiday scene at school when Cason's just all cute.

And I have to ask, how is Parker and Jillian’s story coming along? I’m sure many people are anxious for those last couple of chapters!
I got more than half written over my break, and now I'm just trying to finish it off during small breaks. Sorry it's taking so long!

Quick Round:
Ryan Gosling or Channing Tatum? Ryan Gosling
Dark chocolate or milk chocolate? I'm not a fan of most chocolate, but milk chocolate is better.
White roses or red roses?
Red, but pink is probably the best. :)
Valentine’s Day or St. Patrick’s Day?
Valentine's Day, just because I found out I was allergic to green food colouring on St. Patrick's Day!
Young Adult romance or New Adult? Young Adult
Short and Sweet Review

Until I Met You is a perfect read for Valentine's Day. Who needs real people when swoony fictional characters like Cason exist?
Emma does a great job incorporating a ship worthy romance between Cason and Jessa with enough drama to keep readers engaged without making it cliche or over the top. Until I Met You is also currently featured on The Duff's profile as a story containing similar high school experiences!

Rating: 4 yummy cupcakes
