Summary:
You know that feeling in the pit of your stomach that stays with you, then tears you apart slowly at first, and all at once shreds every fiber of your being?
It’s because you’re contradicting the universe.
Everything lines up so perfectly that you couldn’t have imagined it to work out better, but then you have to go and do everything humanly possible to ruin it because you can’t stand to have it go right?
That’s what I did.
I did it because there’s a darkness that surrounds me, and I think I want it there.
My name is Tate McKenna, and my soul is blacker than my heart.

Now without further ado, the cover!

Exclusive Excerpt :

I look up into the sky to see all of the drops falling on the ground before they make contact. I realize the drops have more in common with me than I think. We’re all just falling until we’re not falling, and we don’t really have a choice where we land.

About Lily Paradis

WebsiteTwitter Facebook

I’m Lily, and I’m currently working on my first four novels. It was just one at first, then two, three, and now four. None of them are in the same series because I have an issue with distraction. I’ve been writing stories for as long as I can remember, and I hope to be a successful author and editor. My 2012/2013 NaNoWriMo project is entitled Equilibrium, and is now in the editing process. It will most likely be released late 2014 or early 2015!

  1. OOOh I love this cover. It is simple and really beautiful. As someone who lives in NY it is great to see the Empire State building on a book as well!

    1. Me too! I love the simplicity of it and how the red colored title pops against the background. :D
